New products are ever more often fascinating consumers with their design. Product design is thus playing an increasing role in the strategic branding and image building of companies. This poses the question of effective legal protection of new designs as valuable business assets.
Design Protection in Europe offers a systematic survey, including latest key decisions from Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and OHIM (Volume 4 available now). According to the proven concept, 14 new decisions are reproduced in full text, with annotations by experienced specialists of national and European design law (in German or English).
