The International Association of Constitutional Law was founded in Belgrade, then Yugoslavia, in 1981. Throughout more than three decades since its foundation fundamental changes in the theory and practice of constitutional democracies worldwide have been taking place. This collection of papers presented at the 2012 IACL Round Table in Belgrade, 4 - 5 May 2012, commemorates the IACL's 30th anniversary by exploring the Key Developments in Constitutionalism and Constitutional Law since 1981. New constitutional law topics and their impact on teaching constitutional law are also included. The volume closes with the contributions giving account of the foundation of the IACL and its developing contexts.
