This volume contains the basic documents on the international regulation of doping in sport (non-governmental part). Included are, inter alia, the IOC Medical Code, which is a guiding instrument and model for the international sports world, and the doping regulations of the international Olympic sports federations. Relevant provisions in the Statutes and Constitutions and in the competition regulations of the international Olympic sports organisations have been added in order to complete this collection of basic documents on doping. All texts included are reproduced in the version that was valid at the time of the World Conference on Doping in Sport, 2--4 February 1999, Lausanne, Switzerland. This publication was realised within the framework of the T.M.C.
