PREFACE
Since the the Fifth Edition of this work was published in February, 1914, a large number of cases have been decided and numerous Acts passed, including the important measures of the year 1925, which have necessitated considerable additions to and alterations in the present Edition.

All material Acts and decisions have been incorporated in the text, the decisions being bought up to date by means of the Addenda, which will be found on page xiii. The Index has been enlarged.
