This publication is a direct translation of the German language version of the Handbook made by Translex and published in December 2013 (Handbuch Wiener Regeln - Ein Leitfaden für die Praxis).
The English version of the Vienna Rules 2013 was adopted by the Extended Presiding Committee of the AFEC on 8 May 2013 and is an authentic version besides the German version. The Rules are applicable to all proceedings initiated after 1 July 2013.
Distinguished arbitration practitioners have authored this new guide and commented on the New Vienna Rules 2013, providing a helpful and easily comprehensible overview over proceedings administered by the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC).
