Over one hundred years the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators has developed from its UK roots to become a worldwide professional organisation unique in its field.
This book traces that story, beginning with the international expansion of the Institute in recent times, before stepping back to look at its early years as well as the growth of the Institute's educational role and its role as a learned society.
All of this is set against the background of the development of domestic and international arbitration and peppered with the recollections of members past and present.
