The purpose of this book is to provide a revision aid for the undergraduate student of criminal law. It is intended to complement both the traditional textbook on criminal law and the Cavendish Principles of Law series.Seven key areas,which in combination form the essential content of most courses in criminal law, are considered in sufficient detail to enable the student to present sophisticated legal arguments under examination conditions. At the same time, the book seeks to avoid unnecessary complications and superfluous detail, allowing it to function as a concise revision aid.Where appropriate, the most recent cases, legislation and academic articles are analysed to provide the reader with up-to-date information necessary for success in today's competitive marketplace.
