Revised in the light of the AS and A2 qualifications in place from September 2001, this textbook aims to provide students with a thorough grounding in the fundamental principles of English law. It includes the structure of the English legal system, law making and dispute solving as well as dealing specifically with separate legal subject areas, such as criminal and contract law. The book pays particular attention to the latest developments in the law, including most notably the introduction of the Human Rights Act 1998.
