A detailed knowledge and understanding of the way that commercial leases operate is a pre-requisite for every practitioner specializing in commercial property. This work examines the way that commercial leases work to enable practitioners to anticipate client problems and ensure that when they do arise, means are at hand to resolve them effectively. Aspects of leases such as form, content, responsibility, liability and enforceability are dealt with.
