The aim of this is to provide a comprehensive introduction to every aspect of the technology of domestic low-rise construction and principal associated legislation. The text provides a revision and combination of ""Construction Technology Volume 1"" and ""Construction and Technology Volume 2"", and assumes no previous knowledge of the subject. Conventional methods of construction are covered and the text follows a rational and logical progression of subjects of construction. Contemporary and established practice are represented, and the text aims to accurately reflect legislation and regulations, including the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994 and the Construction (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1996.
