Surveys the issues involved when legal disputes touch on the laws and procedures of two or more provinces or countries. It contains a short summary of basic common law and statutory rules as well as the theories methods and rules for solving law conflict issues.
The fourth edition contains new or expanded coverage of Custody and Access, Procedure and Marriage. The Actions in Person chapter has been augmented with a new subsection dealing with Personal Jurisdiction and the Internet, while the Torts chapter has been revised to reflect recent developments in the jurisprudence.
