The TRIPS Agreement obliges countries to implement laws which enforce intellectual property rights at national borders. Under these laws, rights holders can prevail upon customs administrations to prevent the release of infringing imports into circulation.
This new looseleaf provides the first comprehensive international survey of these laws and their associated administrative regulations. Taking a jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction approach, it not only examines national regimes but also the systems introduced by regional groupings such as the EU, NAFTA, and Mercosur.
