Since the publication of the fifth edition in 2015, there have been a number of significant developments in this area, both legislative and judicial. These include the enactment of the Industrial Relations (Amendment) Act 2019, giving members of An Garda Síochána access to the Workplace Relations Commission and the Labour Court, and the Workplace Relations (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2021, addressing the issues raised by the Supreme Court decision in Zalewski v An Adjudication Officer (2021).
