This long awaited second edition of the Contract Law Nutshell seeks to address the core principles of Irish Contract Law, with a view to assisting students beginning their study of the subject and those revising for exams. The text highlights key cases and legislation in the field, explaining the law in a manner that is accessible and succinct. It places particular emphasis on the formation of contracts, the terms of a contract, consumer protection, defences, and remedies.
Since the first edition, there have been a number of developments in the law, in particular in relation to promissory estoppel, undue influence, implied terms, and contractual interpretation.
